用 Safari 和 FireFox 里的 flash player，都会有 memory leak。这个问题已经被发现两三年了，最近刚刚听说有一个新的 Flash Player V2 (no memory leak)。
我一时找不到更好的参考，下面这个报道提到 Flash 的 memory leak。

While Flash Player got most of the attention at Adobe Systems' developer conference this week, ..., according to Derek Zarbrook, president of Konductor, a startup that is using AIR to offer a content hosting service for Web designers. "Memory leakage has been a big issue," he said. Memory leaks occur when programs gradually use more and more of the computer's memory over time, causing performance to take a hit.
