April 18 (Bloomberg) -- Purchases of new and existing homes rose to a combined 5.63 million annual rate, the first gain in four months, according to the median estimate of economists surveyed by Bloomberg News. Bookings for goods meant to last several years may have advanced for a fourth straight time.

case-shiller的一月指数(最近一期)调整后也微升0.3%。

只要没有走出危机，foreclosure rate 就会上升，这个指标应该比房价指数和交易量还要滞后吧。
