You will need a nailer gun to do this. and also you need a air compressor. Your room was small or you are lucky. In my opinion a table saw is a must for this job. A lower end table saw cost about 100 dollar at homedepot. Laminate floor is good for diy. A solid wood floor will be much heavy and need floor nailer which is hard to operate.
