money to feed those hungry Europeans? It is the biggest question now.
America has a long-term fiscal problem now. I did not see any serious action by Obama at all. The only thing happening now is kicking the can down the road, by both Democrats and Republicans. With America's current budget, it will not be able to implement any plan similar to Marshall's plan after WWII.
Americans can put up restrictions, I doubt whether the desperate Europeans will even care.
If you look at the business media across the Atlantic: you will get the impression that Europe is now in hell from America's perspective--but still in sunny spring, based on the French and German media.
This fight and disgust will not fade off in years. Europeans and Americans were cousins, but do not forgotten the bloodiest battle in WWII was also fought by Europeans and Americans in Europe.
