主题:【原创】从建国初薄一波犯错误谈起 -- hwd99
One of the Profs who gave us English classes, who is British, told me that he thought that Canadians are "too soft, and if US demands that Canada gives all its territory to it, Canada would simply say, 'OK'." Although this is exaggrating, obviously, but I do believe that somehow it caught the essence of the problem. But how in hell did the Canadians, who has been living in such an unforgiving enviornment for a few centuries, become "soft"? I once read a story about how some Canadian policemen pursued a fugitive in wintry Yukon for weeks until they finally shot him to death. Those policemen IMO were definitely tough, not soft.
