家园 北大博士搞升级搞改革 掩着眼睛回避最大的问题--财富分配

well said, but as everybody knows, TG has come a long way in 改革开放 or basically 改革开放 china into a TG capitalism dominated society economically, and 最大的问题--财富分配 as number 1 issue of capitalism naturally becomes china's number 1 issue;

It is very hard if not possible for TG to change direction now, and 不厚的问题 is: for whatever reasons, he wants to go a totally different direction;

the big problem for TG now:

1. 中美 extreme (highly productive and highly volatile) 资本主义 fundamental problem of "夕阳无限好,只是近黄昏"

2. given USA's domestic resources/international power/its long-run and established political system, USA is likely able to survive the inevitable 资本论's version of economic slowing down, and without QE;

3. now, china

fundamentally as a capitalist economy with TG style, china is going to face the inevitable 资本论's version of economic slowing down as well;

according to 朱鎔基's son published comments, household saving=10% of Chinese national savings,

that is 杯水车薪 to solve any 资本论's version problems, even TG manages grabbing that 10% of Chinese national savings by 北大博士's 升级搞改革 in refinancing the bad debt of whomever;

4. what is the strategic hedging plan for TG?

B may be one, as TG came out with 战略预备队/鄧政偉 when turning "right" at 1978, B may well be the TG's 左转弯's 战略预备队

the problem for many including X: if B comes out, the only place to go is where B is now, but TG as a whole may survive, sacrificing quite a few as a "cost".

obviously, that is the last resort for TG, right now TG is trying very hard to build a 中美 extreme (highly productive and highly volatile) 资本主义共榮圈, but where is the new 世界市场 for it?

if 资本主义 globalization is coming to an end in terms of 开拓new 世界市场, then all kinds of 资本论's version problems just get started, particularly for china.

----from web------

Currently one in six Americans, including 17 million children, cannot afford adequate food. Since the onset of the world economic crisis, the use of food stamps in the US has soared, rising from 9 percent of the population in 2008 to nearly 15 percent in 2012. SNAP currently helps feed nearly 48 million people.

To compensate for the growth in demand for food stamps, federal funding increased from $35 billion in fiscal year 2007 to $80 billion in 2012. Democratic and Republican politicians regard providing this level of federal aid to the most destitute layers of society unacceptable.
