对很多美国人来说, 新奥尔良唤起的是残破海堤的回忆, 是洪水蔓延城市的回忆, 是水中的妈妈艰难地将幼孩举过头顶的回忆...当人们站在屋顶焦急地凝望等待时, 久久地他们只能看到空白的天幕... (讲两年后灾情依在)传统街车现已重回新奥尔良街头, 但我们知道车厢内缺少往日的喧嚣; 嘉年华欢声依旧, 但那欢声盖不住犯罪的阴影不过话说回来，这种酸不拉唧的话，说多了美国听众不会吐吗？
