looking at my own history, day-trading achieved almost the same medium annualized ROI as month-trading, but required much more effort. so except for situations where the stock starts shooting up right after my entry, day-trading has been a waste of time.

but the story's totally different, when the position's highly leveraged, and every small move of the market means substantial gain/loss.
