主题：推荐索罗斯的新书 -- 倥偬飞人

刚刚买了索罗斯的新书，《金融市场的新范例:2008信用危机和其意义》，值得一读。前不久索罗斯用非常简练然而抓住实质的语言总结了危机的实质，那就是长达60年的以美元为基础的信贷扩张时代开始结束。有意思的是，索罗斯现在最想当的，是哲学家。

摘录："I have been fortunate in making a lot of money and spending it will. But I have always wanted to be a philosopher, and finally I may have become one. What more can one ask for from one life?"

索罗斯也是布什的坚定反对者。也许多年之后回顾历史，以布什为首的所谓美国精英，经由他们的贪婪和腐败，以及自以为对ultimate truth（终极真理）的把握，（这就是为什么美国往往以反人权反民主的方式来伸张所谓人权和民主），正好成为了美利坚帝国地位的终结者。

任何有心研究投资的人，如果不对美国大萧条以来这场最严重的危机做深入的了解，都将是舍本逐末和充满失败风险的。
