主题：【原创】开一个, 论战的战场. 中医, 西医 对战 中医西化 -- 灵素
灵素MM喜欢用MAINSTREAM MEDICINE 和 Alternative and/or Complementary Treatments，这没有问题；与现代医学和传统医学的划分相比，只是分类的标准不同。至于为什么西方常用前面的划分，只是因为他们没有中医的问题；一句话，国情不同。
灵素MM说：
A system in which medical doctors and other healthcare professionals (such as nurses, pharmacists, and therapists) treat symptoms and diseases using drugs, radiation, or surgery. Also called conventional medicine, Western medicine, orthodox medicine, biomedicine, and allopathic medicine.
不过，conventional 和 orthodox 似乎不能译为传统（对应的是traditional）。对现代西方人来说，既然现代西医已经有几百年历史，说是“他们”传统意义上的医学也没错。但我们谈到现代与传统的划分是，是从医学发展史的角度而言。
另外， Chiropractic 和 Osteopath 应该符合WHO的传统医学的定义
the health practices, approaches, knowledge and beliefs incorporating plant, animal and mineral based medicines, spiritual therapies, manual techniques and exercises, applied singularly or in combination to treat, diagnose and prevent illnesses or maintain well-being[
对不起，几次三番说同一个问题应算“纠缠”了；其实我只是想与灵素MM更有效地讨论问题。如果我们同一名词的定义都不同，那怎么交流？好在事不过三，这是我在定义问题上最后发言。
