Mrs Lanvin had the idea of perfume ARPEGE in 1927 for the 30 years of her daughter cherished. Paul Vacha and André Fraysse will be the creators.
The name of the perfume will hold with a reflection that Marguerite (great impassioned music and of song) will pronounce by testing the perfume: "One would say an arpeggio". Albert Armand Rateau will draw the bottle, celebrates it black ball decorated with a drawing allotted to the artist Paul Iribe immortalising the love of a mother for his daughter. The stopper with gadroons will be gilded with the fine gold. This perfume was a immense success.
