难道你没有数据就可以排除转基因对美国肥胖的人数的增多没有影响？
我是对转基因的安全性表示怀疑，我当然没有提供准确数据的义务，而你则确认转基因是安全的，那么你就有义务提供准确的数据来消除怀疑者的疑虑，不然你凭什么那么自信呢？
救济食品当中显然主要是廉价食品，而转基因食品我们知道相对于非转基因是廉价的，这你不能否定的是吧
至于美国每年依靠政府食品救济的人，我英文同样不怎么样----当年读中学的时候，把记忆力搞坏了，记单词非常困难，但是还是可以看一些英文的
比方说你可以搜索USDA(美国农业部）food securtiy (食品安全---美国政府就是喜欢用这样的貌似学术的词语来代替饥饿这样的通俗的词语）可以找到美国农业部发布的报告，该报告是通过对一个样本的人群进行调查，调查该样本中有多少人吃不饱饭

我稍微翻译一下，遇到不懂的单词我也懒得去查字典，大概意思不会差太多
2009年，百分之八十五的美国家庭在食品供给方面是安全的（美国官员就喜欢说得这么绕，如同美国官员就喜欢说生物工程就不说转基因一样），14.7%的美国家庭至少在2009年的一年中的某些时候得到足够的食品供给安全保障，相对于2008年的14.6的百分比基本上没有变化，但是同样保持了自从1995年开始发布该报告以后的最高比例

What Is Food Security?
Food security for a household means access by all members at all times to enough food for an active, healthy life. Food security includes at a minimum:

USDA does not have a measure of hunger or the number of hungry people. Prior to 2006, USDA described households with very low food security as “food insecure with hunger” and characterized them as households in which one or more people were hungry at times during the year because they could not afford enough food. “Hunger” in that description referred to “the uneasy or painful sensation caused by lack of food.”
In 2006, USDA introduced the new description “very low food security” to replace “food insecurity with hunger,” recognizing more explicitly that, although hunger is related to food insecurity, it is a different phenomenon. Food insecurity is a household-level economic and social condition of limited access to food, while hunger is an individual-level physiological condition that may result from food insecurity.

97 percent reported that the food they bought just did not last and they did not have money to get more.
94 percent reported that they could not afford to eat balanced meals.
97 percent reported that an adult had cut the size of meals or skipped meals because there was not enough money for food.
89 percent reported that this had occurred in 3 or more months.
In 95 percent, respondents reported that they had eaten less than they felt they should because there was not enough money for food.
In 65 percent, respondents reported that they had been hungry but did not eat because they could not afford enough food.
In 47 percent, respondents reported having lost weight because they did not have enough money for food.
28 percent reported that an adult did not eat for a whole day because there was not enough money for food.
美国调查者设计了十几个问题，让被调查者回答，如果回答是比较多的是食品不安全的，如果回答是的答案很多那么是严重不安全的，如上的食品严重不安全的人47%的人报告，他们因为没有足够的钱买吃的，导致体重下降，28%的人报告他家里有一个成年人有一整天没有吃饭，因为没有钱；百分之65的人报告他们感到了饥饿，但是却没有钱买吃的，百分之95的人报告他们吃的比他自己感觉要吃的要少，即百分之95 的人报告说他们因为没有钱所以吃不饱，百分之98的人为自己的钱够不够买吃的感到焦虑，97%的人报告他们买的食品已经没有了，却没有钱了，94%的人报告说他们无法获得均衡的饮食，97%的人报告说他的家庭有一个以上的成年人减少了食量或者减少了用餐次数，89%的人报告以上的情况在一年中发生了三个月以上。
对食品不安全的人的数量，该报告强调说，不同状况的家庭的人数是不同的，具体人数多少，我暂时没有找到，但是2008年3500万人这个数字是不会差多少的，最近因为金融危机的影响，显然挨饿的人要增多
另外，纽约市620万的人口中，需要食品救济的人口为30万（想象下，随便一个中国的小城，有多少的人需要政府的食品救济，我老家那边，粮仓里的粮食那是根本吃不完的）
所以根本不能以为美国人的营养状况是理想的营养状况，美国人在营养方面，特别是那些15%的食品不安全的家庭，7%的严重食品不安全的家庭，如果中国人还要和他们看齐的话，那是那没有上进心了
美国穷人吃转基因是因为实在没有钱，中国人也要跟着那样吃？
