My points are:
1. China keeps offering a narrow exit to peace but China does not rely on that.
2. China trys to maintain the moral advantage against Japan.
3. China is preparing for the war.
4. Japan appears not retreating.
It takes months of propaganda battle and military preparation before the war breaks, which, at least for now, seems difficult to avoid.
