Logically, it is possible to extend a Sanger's Trajectory at 20 Mach speed with a Hsue Shen Tsien's trajectory at 10 Mach or below. However, the most difficult job is that, when the missile is skipping off the outer layer of atmosphere like a stone skipping on water on a Sanger's trajectory, almost no material and/or equipment can survive such a multiple-reentry mission (say, 4-6 re-entries for 16000 KM missile range at Mach 20 speed), let alone maitaining effective control over the missile. Tsien's trajectory is a lessor nightmare for engineers--only one re-entry and then gliding at 10 Mach--at least China has made it.
Assuming current technology is advanced enough for engineers to make material and equipment that can survive at least one Sanger Skip-off without losing control. So why not make a missile that firstly re-enters atmosphere and gliding on Tsien's trajectory, ignites the engine(scramjet?) to accelerate the missile from 10 Mach to 20 Mach, following Sanger's trajectory, and then, bouncing back from outer-layer of atmosphere, dives into its target at 20 Mach speed, which no one can intercept?
