I had a chance to talk to a friend from Chile. I asked her opinions regarding "Chile Miracle".( Some economical reform advised by Chicago boys) She agreed that the WHOLE GDP between 70s -80s definitely skyrocketed and people had more
savings. But the biggest problem is no free medical care and no free education anymore, which in turn degraded the actual living standard of most fixed-income people or even middle class.
Do we have to do the same?
