又看了一下ONS 2020年英格兰和威尔士官方死亡统计里面

共计80830死于新冠(deaths registered where coronavirus (COVID-19) was mentioned on the death certificate in England and Wales), 总人口按照ONS的统计和预估在2020年是6700万人.

这个统计里面65岁(含65岁)以上的总计是72620, 也就是89.84%

*现行普通人是65岁开始退休(当然有些老的合同的政府雇员, 包括医护有不少是地狱65岁退休的), 所以实际拿退休金的肯定高于89.94%

再来看看2021年 (截至7月30日ONS的统计)

共计新冠死亡总数是59161

其中65岁以上是51103, 也就是86.38%.

对英国来说, 这千分之一里面, 省的不仅仅是退休金, 还有大量医保支出(英国不仅看病住院免费, 住院期间吃饭也是免费). 相应的这些65以上的人均医保支出是远远超过65岁以下的.
