现在是4%的员工由于新冠缺勤, 9%由于其他原因生病或者隔离缺勤. 现在问题是不知道这9%是否包括那4%. 不包括的话那就是13%的英格兰医护缺勤.

个人了解到的情况是医院里有些部门是近乎一锅端的.

South Central Ambulance Service drafts in military to combat staff shortage

An ambulance service is drafting in help from the Armed Forces to combat staff shortages.

A total of 32 military co-responders will work across Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

They are expected to stay with SCAS until the end of March.

Train services hit by Covid staff absences

Rail passengers are facing cancellations or fewer services as train companies face high levels of staff absences due to Covid.

The Rail Delivery Group said almost one in 10 rail workers were off.

The new rules apply to fully vaccinated passengers (two doses) and under-18s, who no longer need to take a pre-departure test two days before travelling.

On arrival, they will still have to take a PCR test, but no longer have to self-isolate while waiting for the result.

From 04:00 GMT on Sunday 9 January, they will will be able to take a cheaper lateral flow test (LFT) instead of a PCR test.

The tests must be bought from a private test provider - free NHS tests cannot be used.

If the post-arrival LFT is positive, they must self-isolate and take an NHS PCR test to confirm the result.

Vaccinated travellers will still have to fill in and submit an online passenger locator form no more than 48 hours before arriving, even if they are just passing through the UK.
