家园 在新年来临之前把他给处决了。。就差两天，太邪恶了 
我看了timesonline的反应，应该是一半一半吧，以往这个timesonline的评论大部分是特别仇视中国的，但这一次民众的情绪还基本平静，除了老调重弹的指责中国邪恶的（基本不用理睬了，耳朵老茧都听出来了，俺都有免疫能力了）

The Chinese HAD no option but to pass and carry out the death sentence and resist pressure from the west. Politically, that would not be acceptable due to the amount of international publicity it received and it would have opened up a nasty legal loophole in the Chinese justice system.
If the newspapers hadn't reported it so much and our government jumping up and down over it, the poor sap may have stood a chance of getting his sentence commuted to life after discussions and a payment of some kind between his family & the Chinese authorities to buy his life.
It all failed because people tried to apply Western logic to Eastern culture. Now that it's been carried out, the it's all moot and that's all I'm saying on the subject.
BTW, Here in the UK our laws are all over the place, full of loopholes and are never consistent when applied to the same crime by different people. Generations of meddlesome governments and weak-willed judges have seen to that and I don't have any respect for the UK legal system due to that."

家园 一句都没看懂，麻烦问一下什么意思 家园 就是在英国的这个论坛留言里，这几个是被推荐最多的留言 （大意）：就是夸中国处决这个毒贩子干的好呗。并且嘲笑布朗谴责中国是因为中国不甩他呗。 还有一些头脑比较清醒的认识到，说：英国对中国指手划脚，告诉中国该如何做的日子已经不再了。
还有很多支持这样的留言：英国也需要一些象中国这样严厉强硬的司法
家园 切，啥新年！ 按照中国的千年历法，春节到了俺们的新年才正式开始；今年的春节是落在二月份滴。
刚才看有人说，这个毒贩子被在午后三时处决的，这时辰是中国历来一贯的处决时间（？）。

家园 按传统是秋后问斩 春季是提审和大赦的时间。原因是顺应大自然的规律，天人合一，天地感应。春天万物滋生，主生，所以要大赦。春季大规模提审的原因也是尽快解决疑难、积压案件，无辜的还以清白，把可以放的就放了，可以不杀的就不杀。过了春夏两拨会审，定了一定要杀的，那么就等都秋冬季节，万物萧索，主杀的季节，一并咔嚓掉。
中国封建王朝至少在立法上对于刑狱之事还是很慎重的，普通刑事犯罪，不能随意砍头，包公来了也不行。当然，威胁皇权的罪行那就从严从速办理了，有机会熬到来年春天给放出来的不多。

家园 我是指是元旦啦：p 我刚刚看了BBC新闻，没啥花头，讲了 那个毒贩子有精神病什么的，中国非常邪恶没人权。BBC还采访了中国的一个老伯伯，老伯伯看来也是个老愤青，说（大意）：中国人贩毒也要判死刑的，外国人在中国要遵守中国法律，为什么要特殊对待？
然后采访了一个MM，MM也说英国是干涉了中国的司法blahblah
接着，还说英国时间今天下午，和中国驻英的人员进行了会面，谈话内容（其实是指中方）相当的“tough”。。。
然后又说中国在世界舞台上的地位越来越高，这件事情会不会影响中英关系？（还播了几秒钟的奥运圣火传递时，英国警方打/抓藏独的镜头）
最后，一个英国男人的（可能是什么国际关系专家）回答说在过去4，5年英国和中国的关系发展得良好。。。
英方这次没啥花头滴，邪恶的中国又赢了
家园 英国人为一个毒贩叫屈，实在是选错了点。 对于毒贩的憎恨，很难让民意转向英国媒体的口径。其中一个留言写道：
We should have the death penalty here in the UK.Pity that the UK does not have the resolve to hold a referendum on the death penalty, i bet it would get massive support.
The death sentence not just for Drug runners and dealers, but for murders etc...
Clearly the Chinese care far more about their young people and other innocent people - they show themselves to be a more civilised society than Britain and it's community of tired out leftie softies.
Shame this Government in this country doesn't care about it's people in the same way.
Labour seem to let anyone in and do what they like, and get away with it.
