基本上15万就算5%了。10%的高收入门槛估计在13万左右，河里的河友估计一大半都进入这个门槛了，交了一堆苛捐杂税以后大家就纷纷又降到门槛以下了。其实联邦税收的莫名其妙，大家大部分的福利都不是联邦税提供的，比如说警察消防员都是州税供养，修桥铺路都是油钱里面的燃油税。估计咱的联邦税大头都在伊拉克，阿富汗打了水漂

一半美国人在4月18日不欠税并不是说他们没交税哦。

我的理解是这些相对低收入者在填W-4的时候没有预计到很多抵扣项目，使得他们在年底的时候一算下来平时的Withhold已经足够甚至太多。而高收入者们因为很多抵扣项目没他们的份，比如房贷的利息抵扣被Phase out了，所以往往要补交欠税，就是Owning Tax。
