正因为沉默了这许多年，才如此急切的倾诉，渴望被理解，可就算都说出来了，又有谁真能懂呢？歌声随着钢琴的伴奏娓娓道来，曲调优美，起伏并不大，却有动人心魄的力量。

这歌王菲和孙燕姿都翻唱过，我觉得还是原唱Tori Amos最佳，她采用钢琴作为主要伴奏乐器的做法不仅恢复了70年代的音乐传统，也使她成为少数几个富有文学性的歌手兼词曲作者之一。她的简单，婉约的唱腔和钢琴伴奏旋律，使得她的音乐具有一种不可抗拒的魅力。
