Singing in the car

在車裡唱歌

Use trips in the car as an opportunity to sing together and to teach your children new songs. Even if you can’t sing in tune, the kids will still love singing with you.

開車旅行其實是一個與寶寶一起唱歌並教會他們新歌的的寶貴機會。即便您唱歌找不著調，寶寶還是會喜歡和爸媽一起唱歌的。

When we were children we loved singing in the car with Mum and Dad, and I still sing many of those old songs with my son.

當我還是孩子的時候，就喜歡和我的爸爸媽媽在車裡一起歌唱，並且我現在還一直和我的孩子唱許多老歌。

Singing is great for developing a child’s language skills, memory and sense of rhythm. Begin with simple nursery rhymes, then progress to the songs your child is learning at kindergarden, pre-school or school. If you don’t know the words, why not ask the teacher to write them down for you. Teacher are happy to do this because they value parental interest and support.

唱歌可以很好地提高寶寶的語言能力、記憶、以及節奏感。從唱簡單的兒歌開始，寶寶逐漸在幼稚園、學前班、或者學校中獲得進步。如果您不知道那些歌詞，不妨請學校的老師幫您寫下來。老師們會非常高興地幫您，因為他們珍視家長的興趣和支持。

If you still need more song to sing, have a look at the selection of tapes or CDs in your local children’s bookshop.

如果您還不滿足，需要更多歌曲的話，在附近的兒童書店裡去找找卡帶和CD吧~

父母的時間支出我認為是必要的，既然把寶寶接到這個世界中來，那就要對他/她負責呀。不過，父母未必需要才藝什麼的，其實只要用一些心思就好。

關鍵是要能保證爸爸媽媽和寶寶之間有足夠的互動，鼓勵寶寶學習“做“事。視頻自然有價值，但是總的來說還是間接的，平面的，只能提供一種參考。比如，讓寶寶看一顆植物一朵花，如果不能摸摸碰碰聞聞，那麼他對花的具體印象就很難建立起來。寶寶缺乏”做“的訓練，反而會對很多東西失去興趣。
