我在上海外文书店看到的
想想视频里她那样活力四射的样子，真没法与死亡联系起来。不过她的八卦好像是真八卦啊。。。

不过她最擅长的曲目是略带点灰色调的埃尔加大斜，只怕不是巧合吧
现在还在世的大提琴家里，Truls Mrk有我听过最好的声音，大提琴最迷人就是那绵长的旋律线，这点Mrk和du Pre一样，做得非常出色。但是最近一次听到他的新闻竟是这一条：
In April 2009, Mrk experienced an infection of the central nervous system, presumably caused by a tick bite he received in the United States in 2006, with subsequent encephalitis, and paralysis in the shoulder muscles of the left arm. In the autumn of 2009 he expressed concern that he might never be able to perform again.
不像舒伯特莫扎特，离世前几个礼拜还创作不断，杜普蕾的最后十五年深受病痛困扰，最能表达她自己的手指不停使唤了，这种痛苦是令人窒息的。
Her last public concerts were in New York in February 1973...... Du Pré recalled that she had problems judging the weight of the bow, and just opening the cello case had become difficult. As she had lost sensation in her fingers, she had to coordinate her fingering visually. She performed three of the concerts and cancelled the last.
