中秋過了，溫哥華又到了秋天這雨季。連天的陰雨，再加上到處的落葉，對我這個生長在南國的人，移民此地後，才真的明白古人所講「秋士悲」及秋天是如何的「肅殺」來。

在這樣的天氣下，最適宜一杯熱茶，開著音響，聽音樂去。聽甚麼呢？無過「秋葉」了！

作曲家是Joseph Kosma，作詞是Jacques Prévert，

1949年由Johnny Mercer填了英文詞。

在大西洋兩岸都是流行歌曲和爵士樂裏的經典歌曲。

1956年的同名電影，即由納京高唱主題曲。

1955年 Roger Williams 彈鋼琴，和他的樂隊合奏的《秋葉》

高据排行榜第一名達四個星期之久。

據説是在美國流行歌曲排行榜唯一得此榮耀的純音樂曲子。
