"Lenovo will sell through IBM’s current PC specialists, who will join Lenovo

upon closure of the deal. Through the alliance, IBM will also provide

marketing support and demand generation services for Lenovo products, and

integrate Lenovo products in its service offerings.

Lenovo will leverage IBM’s existing enterprise sales force

organization of approximately 30,000 professionals, as well as utilize

IBM’s established channels such as ibm.com. To compensate for that

lead generation, IBM will receive a sales fee based on a percentage of

Lenovo’s sales."
