Roses Are Red, My Love - Bobby Vinton

A long, long time ago, on graduation day,

You handed me your book, I signed this way.

Roses are red, my love, violets are blue.

Sugar is sweet, my love, but not as sweet as you.

We dated through high school, and when the big day came,

I wrote into your book, next to your name.

Roses are red, my love, violets are blue.

Sugar is sweet, my love, but not as sweet as you.

Then I went far away and you found someone new.

I read your letter dear, and I wrote back to you.

Roses are red, my love, violets are blue.

Sugar is sweet, my love, good luck - may God bless you.

Is that your little girl? She looks a lot like you.

Someday some boy will write in her book, too.

Roses are red, my love, violets are blue.

Sugar is sweet, my love, but not as sweet as you.

Casablanca, Key Largo, Tokyo Joe, Another Day in Paradise

I really love this one.. but could you please

provide a URL for MP3 downloading?

70s、60s、50s and even older oldies. Maybe we could have a lot to share with each other...

Yesterday When I Was Young

You call me Tokyo Joe~oe~oe~oe, You're my rose in Tokyo. I still love you So~o~o~So, did you misunderstand...

            Are you lonesome tonight?

            Do you miss me tonight?

Are you sorry we drifted apart?

            Does your memory stray

            To a bright sunny day?

            When I kissed you

            And called you sweetheart?

Do the chairs in your parlor

            Seem empty and bare?

Do you gaze at your doorstep

            And picture me there?

Is your heart filled with pain

            Shall I come back again?

            Tell me dear

            Are you lonesome tonight?

I wonder if you're lonesome tonight

            You know someone said

            That the world's a stage

And each must play a part

Fate had me playing in love

And you as my sweet heart

Act one was when we met

I loved you at first glance

You read your line so cleverly

            And never missed a cue

            Then came act two

            You seemed to change

            And you acted strange

            And why I'll never know

            Honey, you lied

When you said you loved me

And I had no cause to doubt you

But I'd rather go on hearing your lies

Than to go on living without you

            Now the stage is bare

            And I'm standing there

            With emptiness all around

And if you won't come back to me

Then make them bring the curtain down

Is your heart filled with pain

            Shall I come back again?

            Tell me dear

            Are you lonesome tonight?
