以老兄的"开国第一战"为蓝本,加上其它的资料来个"嬉皮(西批)第一战".
我想最主要的是扫描的图片是否有版权问题,最好在上传前咨询一下比较好。

朝鲜战争虽然被美国人叫做“被遗忘的战争”, 但这个概念看和什么比, 和二战一战内战这些题材比,朝鲜战争的出版物是大大不如, 但一般的图书馆里朝鲜战争的书摆满一个书架还是没有问题的。
先说明一下,并不是说这批书我都读过, 远远没有,到目前为止只看完一小部分。这批书是我在国内的时候通过各种关系弄到的,目前还留在国内,以后也不打算挪窝, 因为国内朝鲜战争的书实在是太少了(说来可怜我所在的大学据说也算是华南区大学中藏书量最大的图书馆之一,但我去检索朝鲜战争项目下的西文图书,居然一本都没有,我很怀疑他们有那么多钱盖新的图书馆建立安全系统检索系统,为什么不能花一点钱去买两本书呢),把这批书留在国内,我觉得更有意义。

就我所知, 这些档案都是开放给公众公开使用,一般的使用和传播,只要不是用于商业用途,比如结个集子印好出去赚钱(当然如果真这么干的话,估计是要赔钱),应该没有什么问题。 比如上次那套朝鲜的彩色地图就是学校扫描上网。
当然, 最好还是问问清楚,这样比较好, 我估计问题不大。
我上次说过有钱有闲, 其实有钱那是说笑了, 如果真要研究的话, 去复制这些原始资料(复印或者微缩胶卷),是要付费用的, 但这个费用相对于他们的生活水平而言,远远算不上昂贵。绝对不会出现中国有些档案或者图书馆狮子大张口的行为。 但是有闲则是不错的, 必须能够抽出时间来读这些资料,从中细细搜寻出你所提出的问题出来。
说了那么多, 还是回到书目的问题上来,如果你想看的是书而不是原始档案的话, 问题就变的简单的多了, 你甚至不需要用钱, 只要有一个好的图书馆就可以了。 如果在国外的话, 这个问题就很好解决, 一般好一点的研究型图书馆(例如大学里的)都有很多朝鲜战争的书籍可以借阅,我下面的帖子里的一些算是比较常见的,而且很多的时候还可以馆际互借,不需要付费或者只需要很少的费用。
如果是在国内的, 没有这个条件的话, 其实网络上的资源也很多。 比如美国陆军历史中心的朝鲜战争网上书架就有很多著作扫描上网, 比如美国陆军的朝鲜战争官方史书,南到洛东北到鸭绿, 潮起潮落,停战谈判的帐篷和前线,政策与决定等,估计中国军科院里面也就是有这些书了。 其他美国海军空军陆战队的历史中心也有类似的地方可以提供原版的书籍下载。现在美国军方的网站对中国大陆的IP封锁, 但是这个地方时不时的还可以上去,如果想看的话,可以乘那天可以的时候上去把这些书批量下载到硬盘,留着慢慢看。

另外提醒一点, 如果英文没有问题的话,我想还是最好看原文, 不要看国内翻译的版本, 因为翻译的质量实在是太差, 例如把"高性能战斗机"翻成"高空战斗机",这些还算是一般性错误,有些就实在是说不过去,例如把“武断的”翻译成“适宜的”(说出“三八线是适宜的”这种话),把“朝鲜血统”翻译成“朝鲜籍”等,这意思整个就拧了,造成理解上的偏差。花时间读书还没读到真经,岂不可惜?

我想你知道finereader软件,扫描上来的英文文档由它来识别准确率极高,直接转换成文本,容易处理。

就原始资料上网的格式来讲,我个人觉得还是应该包含文档的扫描照片,这样可以保证信息不失真。当然在处理过程中,为了加快速度,利用工具来提取和识别文档中的信息是完全没问题的。
关于资料的分类,我还是倾向于以原始资料的装订格式为准。大致就是将装订在一起的一份资料作为一个子项目,如果子项目里的篇幅太多,就应该分成多个任务,由几个人来完成。
关于资料的组织和管理,还得多麻烦版主大人在拉壮丁,蒸馒头的同时,多抽空帮忙了。
我觉得有必要建立一个常用词的中英对照表。
接到资料之后,我会尽力先将资料上全,感兴趣的朋友先大致浏览一下,我到时会另建主题来供大家对资料中一些常用的单词以及译法进行讨论,再根据大部分人接受的译法来更新对照表。而参与翻译的朋友则需要在接受任务之前同意在翻译的过程中与对照表保持一致。这样至少可以在比较高的层面上保证翻译文档的一致性。
总之,还有很多的细节要完善,我会在近期将计划贴上来供大家讨论。
