I can't agree more with your point that some Chinese lack confidence and are afraid of being stereotyped.

Some of the replies to your article should have reflected the characters of their authors. One type is merely jealous. The others are upset and afraid of being stereotyped.

These two types of people are pathetic and need to consult their psychiatrists. In my opinion, the "tiger mother" has done a terrific job. She is true to herself and courageously faces up to chalenges. How many ethnic Chinese people in American society have been able to do this? I admire what she has done and despise the rats who are only capable of making noise on a little-known web site.
