Subject: Ask for prayers and help for the earthquake in China
Hello all,
As you might have known, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit South China Si Chuan province on Monday, May 12th. As of today, May 17th, 28,881 people died, 198,347 injured, 27,560 been saved and 14,000 still buried under the debris. Behind every number, it’s a human being; it’s someone’s son, daughter, husband, wife, father, mother…it’s family, it’s friend, it’s neighbor, it’s colleague…
It is a great disaster, not just to a region, to a country, but to the whole mankind. I cried seeing so many suffered, yet I smile and deeply moved seeing many touching stories: teachers and parents used their bodies to protect the children when buildings collapsed, doctors and nurses saved lives when their own children are buried in nearby buildings, citizens lining up to donate blood…
The Chinese are doing whatever that we can to save and help. We have been receiving so many generous helps from all round the world. If you can, please join us in praying for the victims and survivors of the earthquake.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could please pass this along to someone you know…
Love keeps us strong!
